Advanced Technology Academy Middle School is committed to providing students with high-quality, interdisciplinary learning experiences that challenge them academically. Our instructional approach is specifically designed to develop essential 21st-century competencies, including problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. We maintain high standards for high achievement, ensuring every student is prepared to excel in a demanding global environment.

We emphasize an Early Middle College experience here, achieved through building strong local partnerships with business and higher education. Our efforts are focused on encouraging and preparing students for success in college and professional careers across high-growth fields, such as business, engineering, health care, and technology.

Career Exploration & Real-World Experience

Every middle school student participates in a Career Exploration class or an independent, career-focused learning experience. Taught by content-area teachers, these courses introduce students to a wide range of career pathways, helping them make informed decisions about their future.

This learning is enhanced through:

• Support from the school counselor
• Guest speakers from various industries
• Coordinated Learning Experiences (CLEs)
• Access to Xello, an interactive program that helps students explore interests and career clusters
• Transfr VR (Virtual Reality), an immersive learning experience with hands-on VR training, making career exploration and workforce development more engaging and effective
