It is with great pride, heartfelt enthusiasm, and a warm welcome that I greet you on behalf of the Board of Education and the dedicated team of educators and staff at Advanced Technology Academy. Whether you are a long-standing member of our school community or exploring ATA for the first time, we are thrilled you’re here.

For 25 years, ATA has been a place where innovation meets opportunity. Founded in 1999 on the campus of Lawrence Tech University, our academy has grown into a nationally recognized Early Middle College program that blends the final years of high school with the first years of college. Today, we proudly serve students from across the region, preparing them for success in higher education, skilled trades, and high-demand careers.

ATA is more than a school — it’s a vibrant, caring community where students are supported, challenged, and celebrated. We believe every child deserves an outstanding education in a safe, nurturing environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Our mission is built on "High Standards for High Achievement", and we invite you to explore how the ATA Advantage provides a pathway to college and career success.

Serving students in grades PreK through EMC 13th Year, ATA offers a broad range of academic and career-focused opportunities. From Business, Health Science, Computer Science, and Engineering/Mechatronics to Construction Trades, our programs are designed to meet the diverse interests of our students. Through our Early Middle College partnership with Henry Ford College, students can earn up to 60 transferable college credits or an associate degree tuition-free, with seamless transfer options to the University of Michigan–Dearborn, Wayne State University, Eastern Michigan University, and Davenport University through Henry Ford College's Learn4Ward program.

We are deeply proud of our dedicated staff, who bring expertise, compassion, and innovation to their roles each day. Their work helps create a culture of high expectations, strong support, and meaningful connections — making ATA an exceptional place for students to learn and grow.
