Our Campus

ATA Building

Welcome to the ATA Campus: Where Innovation Meets Community

Located on a sprawling, modernized site in Dearborn, the Advanced Technology Academy campus is designed to support our students from their first steps in Pre-K to their first college credits. Our facilities blend professional-grade technology with safe, dedicated spaces for play and athletics.

The Main Campus: A Collegiate Atmosphere

The Main Campus serves grades 1–12 and our Early Middle College program. The architecture retains a "college feel" that helps our older students transition mentally and academically to higher education.

  • The Mechatronics Lab: Our "crown jewel" facility, featuring Amatrol workstations and a full plant simulator, where students get hands-on experience with industrial technology.
  • Innovation Hubs: Students utilize our ACT WorkKeys Computer Labs and our cutting-edge Virtual Reality Career-Based Learning Center to explore future professions in a digital environment.
  • The Internal Courtyard: A central open-air space where students gather during fair-weather days to study, socialize, and enjoy the outdoors between classes.

Athletics & Wellness

  • The Fieldhouse: The primary hub for Laker Athletics and school-wide spirit.
  • Fitness & Health: We recently opened a new Fitness Training Center located within the Henry Ford Health (HFH) Community Care Center. Centrally located in the main building, the Care Center ensures health and wellness are integrated into the daily lives of all our students.
  • Outdoor Recreation: The campus features two playgrounds, two athletic practice fields, and a dedicated practice track.

The Early Childhood Development Center (The Annex)

Our youngest Lakers begin their journey in a space designed just for them. The Annex houses our GSRP Pre-K and Kindergarten programs, providing a secure and focused environment tailored to early learners. This building also serves as the heart of our school’s operations, housing our Administrative Offices.

Safety & Peace of Mind

The safety of our Laker family is our highest priority. Our campus is monitored by comprehensive surveillance and staffed by approximately 12 security personnel alongside a daily Dearborn Police School Resource Officer (SRO). We have invested in a state-of-the-art PA and bell system for immediate, school-wide emergency notifications.

Campus Facilities Construction History

Kirco Manix Logo

KIRCO MANIX has completed six different projects for Advanced Technology Academy. The latest additions are the field house gymnasium, Pre-K classroom renovation, and high school classrooms.

Prior to Advanced Technological Academy purchasing the property, the building was occupied by Davenport University/Detroit College of Business. During that time KIRCO MANIX completed several building additions and interior classroom remodels.
