    "Family Bowling"

January's field trip took place at the bowling alley! Both the parents and the children were able to have an exciting time!

  • "Let It Snow!"

  • The preschool class made a snowman this winter.

  • "Intergenerational Program"

Our Adopt-A-Grandparents from Oakwood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a new program to promote growth within the children and the elderly. Once a month, the Grandparents will come visit the children. Together they will play bingo, do arts and crafts, decorate cookies, read, color, and do puzzles together. Research has shown that working with the children helps the elderly with memory loss and for them to remember their own childhood. Our main goal is build a positive learning environment for both the seniors and the children.

    "The Music Lady"

Beverly Meyer, is a fabulous music teacher. She comes to the preschool classroom once a week. She teaches the children many songs, rhymes, and about instruments.

    "The Spanish Teacher"

Melanie Hendrick, is wonderful when it comes to teaching the preschoolers new Spanish words. The children are currently learning about colors, fruits, greetings, and much more. Ms. Melanie, will teach the children common phrases in a developmentally appropriate lesson. Then, she will always end her lesson with a hands-on activity.
